MG Conquers SXSW
Gripweed was in full force at the 2012 SXSW in Austin, TX, performing 3 shows in 2 days at this legendary festival. The SpokesBuzz showcase was a highlight as Gripweed played on the rooftop stage before fellow Crescendo Artists, Greensky Bluegrass. Big thanks to Los Lobos and the Aggie for a great night of music! We had a blast and were honored to play with music legends. We hope to have some audio available soon.
Gripweed signs on to Crescendo Artists Booking and New Management Team
We are proud to annonce that Gripweed is now being represented by national booking agents, Crescendo Artists. They are great people and a welcomed addition to the MG family! Their other acts include Great American Taxi, Greensky Bluegrass, and many more.
Also, we are honored to be working closely with Rob Thomas of EndIt! Management (DeVotchka, STS9) and Aaron Freidman (AEG Live) as our new management team. Good things are happening in the Gripweed camp!
